Job Description

The Steward supports kitchen operations by washing dishes, utensils, cookware and equipment, maintaining clean and hygienic work areas, removing waste, and assisting with receiving and storing supplies. Candidates should be physically fit, reliable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The role requires attention to detail, good hygiene practices, teamwork and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Previous stewarding, kitchen or hotel experience is helpful but may not always be essential. The successful candidate is expected to follow Marriott and Fiji health and safety standards, handle cleaning chemicals responsibly, maintain a professional attitude and support chefs and service teams efficiently.
