Job Description

The Technician (Carpenter/Handyman) supports the hotel’s Engineering and Maintenance team by completing carpentry, repair, painting, fixture installation, and general handyman work throughout guest rooms and public areas. Candidates should have practical experience in carpentry, building maintenance, or a related trade, with the ability to use hand and power tools safely. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical repairs, and preventative maintenance is useful. The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety. The successful candidate is expected to respond promptly to maintenance requests, maintain professional communication with guests and colleagues, keep work areas clean, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
