Destination Guide

Bali offers strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, events, wellness, food and beverage, digital marketing, and creative services, especially in Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, and Jimbaran. The island blends Balinese Hindu traditions, ceremonies, temples, art, music, and community life with an international tourism scene. Lifestyle options range from relaxed beach living to busy urban areas, although traffic, seasonal demand, and rising rents can be challenging. Indonesia generally requires foreign workers to obtain employer-sponsored work authorization, including the appropriate visa and work permit; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Employers commonly assist with documentation, but candidates should confirm sponsorship, housing, insurance, tax, and service-charge arrangements before relocating. Monthly living costs vary considerably, and learning basic Indonesian and respecting local customs will make settling in easier.
