The Application Security Manager is expected to lead application-security practices across DHL, helping protect software products, APIs and digital services from cyber threats. Typical requirements include a degree in computer science, information security or a related discipline; substantial experience in application security, secure software development and vulnerability management; and knowledge of standards such as OWASP, NIST and ISO 27001. Experience with threat modelling, code review, penetration testing, DevSecOps tools and cloud environments is valuable. The successful candidate should communicate clearly with developers, architects and business leaders, influence security improvements, manage priorities across multiple projects and promote security by design. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP or OSCP may be advantageous.
