Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities across Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya, Rayong, and islands such as Koh Samet, with jobs in hotels, restaurants, wellness, diving, guest services, and tourism. Rayong is a relaxed coastal area with beaches, seafood, markets, and access to Koh Samet, while larger islands provide more nightlife and international employment. Thai culture values politeness, respect, modesty, and the traditional wai greeting. Island life is generally warm, social, and outdoors-oriented, though transport, healthcare, and housing can be more limited than in Bangkok. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before starting work. Employers may assist with documentation, but requirements vary by nationality and position. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, meals, insurance, transport, visa support, and contract conditions before relocating.
