Job Description

The Security Officer helps protect guests, colleagues, hotel property and company assets while maintaining a welcoming hospitality environment. Typical requirements include previous security or hotel experience, strong observation and communication skills, professional presentation, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm during emergencies. Familiarity with incident reporting, access control, patrol procedures, fire safety and basic first aid is useful. The successful candidate is expected to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays; respond promptly to incidents; enforce hotel policies respectfully; support emergency procedures; and provide courteous assistance to guests. A valid security licence or relevant local certification may be required, along with the legal right to work in Barbados.
