Job Description

The Tailor is responsible for alterations, repairs and maintenance of guest garments, staff uniforms, linen and hotel textiles. Requirements typically include proven tailoring or garment-alteration experience, strong sewing and stitching skills, knowledge of fabrics and patterns, and the ability to operate sewing machines safely. Attention to detail, neat finishing, time management and reliable teamwork are essential. The successful candidate is expected to handle requests discreetly, meet deadlines, maintain high quality standards and support the Housekeeping or Uniforms department. Previous experience in a luxury hotel, resort or professional tailoring environment is advantageous. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays may be required.
