Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Dubai is a coastal city with an international hospitality job market. Opportunities are strong in luxury hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, aviation, retail and business services. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large expatriate community; modest dress, respect for religion and professional courtesy are important. Dubai offers modern housing, public transport, beaches, shopping and year-round entertainment, although summer temperatures are extremely high and living costs can be significant. Employers usually arrange an employment visa, residency permit, medical testing and Emirates ID after hiring. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, insurance and annual flights are included. Bring attested qualifications where requested, budget for deposits and initial expenses, and check contract terms carefully before relocating.
