Job Description

The Telephone Operator manages hotel calls, transfers guests and departments, records messages, handles wake-up calls, and provides accurate information in a courteous, efficient manner. Candidates should have strong spoken English, clear telephone etiquette, good listening and communication skills, and basic computer knowledge. Previous experience in a hotel switchboard, front office, guest services, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Knowledge of additional languages and familiarity with hotel systems are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to remain calm under pressure, protect guest confidentiality, respond promptly, maintain accurate records, and work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
