Job Description

The Commis Chef supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating and maintaining high hygiene standards across the hotel’s restaurant and service areas. Candidates should have relevant culinary training or entry-level commercial kitchen experience, a strong interest in developing their skills, and knowledge of food safety practices. The role requires teamwork, reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently during busy services. Candidates are expected to follow recipes and instructions, maintain clean workstations, minimise food waste and comply with Accor and Australian workplace standards. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is generally required.
