Job Description

The Carpenter is responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, partitions and other hotel property items at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island. Candidates should have proven carpentry experience, preferably in a hotel, resort or commercial environment, with practical knowledge of woodworking tools, joinery, finishing and basic maintenance. The role requires attention to detail, safe working practices, physical fitness and the ability to interpret measurements or simple drawings. The successful candidate is expected to respond promptly to maintenance requests, complete work to a high standard, keep tools and work areas organized, follow hotel safety procedures and cooperate with the Engineering and other operational teams. Good communication, reliability, flexibility for shifts and a guest-focused attitude are important.
