Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily room and public-area cleaning, allocates duties, checks standards, manages supplies and reports maintenance or guest issues. Candidates typically need previous hotel housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, knowledge of cleaning procedures and the ability to supervise and motivate a team. Good communication, organisation, reliability and a guest-focused attitude are expected. The role may involve early starts, weekends, public holidays and physically demanding work. Familiarity with hotel property-management systems, workplace health and safety and quality-control procedures is advantageous. Experience in a supervisory position and the legal right to work in Australia will generally be required.
