Group Reservations Supervisor

Job Description

The Group Reservations Supervisor manages group booking enquiries, reservations, rooming lists, amendments, cancellations and coordination with hotel departments. Requirements typically include previous experience in hotel reservations, group bookings or front office operations; strong knowledge of reservation systems and Microsoft Office; excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; and the legal right to work in Australia. The successful candidate is expected to maintain accurate records, respond promptly to clients and travel partners, maximise room revenue and occupancy, meet service standards, and support the Reservations Manager and wider commercial team. Experience with Opera or similar hotel property-management systems, knowledge of Melbourne’s hotel market and the ability to work calmly under pressure would be advantageous.
