Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for keeping the resort’s buildings, rooms, plant, equipment and grounds safe, functional and well presented. Requirements typically include relevant maintenance, engineering or trade experience, strong fault-finding skills, knowledge of preventative maintenance, contractor coordination and workplace health and safety. Experience in a hotel, resort or commercial property is highly desirable. The successful candidate is expected to lead or coordinate maintenance staff, respond promptly to guest and operational issues, manage budgets and suppliers, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Australian regulations. Practical problem-solving, good communication, reliability and a hands-on approach are important, along with the ability to work independently and support hotel operations during busy periods or emergencies.
