Job Description

The Senior Hotel Accountant supports the financial operations of Novotel Sydney Olympic Park, including month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, payroll oversight, accounts payable and receivable, and compliance with Accor policies and Australian regulations. Candidates are generally expected to have accounting experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, strong knowledge of financial controls and reporting systems, and excellent Excel skills. Relevant accounting qualifications or progress toward CPA or CA are advantageous. The role requires accuracy, commercial awareness, sound communication, and the ability to work with department managers and senior hotel leadership. The successful candidate should be organised, discreet, proactive, and capable of meeting reporting deadlines while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
