Job Description

The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager supports the day-to-day operation of Novotel Devonport’s restaurant, bar, functions and guest-service areas. Requirements typically include hospitality experience, sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, strong customer-service skills, staff supervision experience and the ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. A responsible service of alcohol qualification may be required. The successful candidate is expected to lead by example, maintain service and presentation standards, assist with rostering and training, manage guest concerns professionally, monitor stock and costs, and help deliver a smooth, profitable operation. Strong communication, organisation, teamwork and a hands-on approach are important.
