Job Description

The Finance Executive – General Accounting is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, accounts analysis and monthly closing support. The role typically requires a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, along with relevant hotel or corporate accounting experience. Candidates should be familiar with accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, Malaysian financial practices and internal controls. Attention to detail, confidentiality, numeracy and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. Experience with hotel operations, audit preparation, accounts payable or receivable and financial reporting would be advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to work cooperatively with other departments and uphold Shangri-La’s professional service standards.
