Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN, and Traders brands. The company is known for personalised service, distinctive guest experiences, and strong attention to quality, dining, wellness, and event operations. Destination Guide

Malaysia offers opportunities in luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, events, and marine activities, particularly in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, and the resort islands of Sabah and Sarawak. The culture is multicultural, combining Malay, Chinese, Indian, Indigenous, and international influences, with festivals, varied cuisine, and generally welcoming communities. Island life can be relaxed and outdoors-focused, with beaches, diving, hiking, and water sports, although transport, healthcare, and shopping may be more limited than in major cities. Foreign employees normally need an employment pass sponsored by the employer; working before approval is not permitted. Employers usually manage the application process, while candidates provide passports, qualifications, references, and medical or immigration documents. Relocating staff should budget for deposits, transport, insurance, and possible accommodation costs, and confirm tax, housing, and dependent arrangements before accepting an offer.
