Job Description

The Security Supervisor is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and hotel assets at Shangri-La Hong Kong. Requirements typically include relevant hotel or security experience, supervisory capability, good communication skills, knowledge of emergency procedures, and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or the ability to obtain the required licence is normally expected. The successful candidate should be observant, calm under pressure, physically fit, well presented and confident handling incidents, access control, patrols, investigations and emergency response. Experience in a luxury hotel, customer-service environment or with security systems is advantageous. English and Cantonese are generally useful, while Mandarin may be an additional benefit.
