Engineering Supervisor

Job Description

The Engineering Supervisor oversees daily maintenance and repair operations across the hotel, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-safety and building systems. Candidates typically need a technical diploma or equivalent experience, several years in hotel or commercial-property engineering, and practical knowledge of preventive maintenance and safety procedures. The role requires good leadership, troubleshooting and communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate contractors and guide technicians. The successful candidate is expected to respond quickly to breakdowns, maintain accurate records, support energy-saving initiatives and ensure guest areas, staff facilities and back-of-house operations remain safe, functional and well maintained. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and emergency call-outs is normally required.
