Job Description

The General Ledger Supervisor oversees daily general ledger activities, month-end and year-end closing, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Candidates should have a degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field, with several years of relevant experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Familiarity with accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, internal controls, and Malaysian reporting requirements is expected. The role requires strong analytical and organisational skills, accuracy, integrity, and the ability to supervise staff, meet deadlines, investigate discrepancies, and work effectively with other departments.
