Job Description

The Waiter/Waitress at Hung Tong is responsible for welcoming guests, taking and serving food and beverage orders, explaining menu items, maintaining table presentation, and ensuring attentive service throughout each visit. Candidates should have a pleasant personality, good communication and customer-service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant. Previous experience in hotel or Chinese restaurant service is preferred. Cantonese is highly advantageous, while conversational English and/or Mandarin may be required. The role involves shift work, weekends and public holidays, standing for extended periods, teamwork, accurate order handling, and consistently meeting Shangri-La’s standards for hospitality, grooming, hygiene and guest satisfaction.
