Job Description

The Engineering Storekeeper manages spare parts, tools, equipment and maintenance supplies for the hotel’s engineering department. Typical requirements include previous experience in hotel stores, engineering stores, warehouse operations or inventory control; good organizational and basic computer skills; accurate record keeping; and the ability to receive, inspect, label and issue materials. Familiarity with stock systems, purchasing procedures and workplace safety is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to maintain tidy and secure storage areas, monitor minimum stock levels, support regular stocktaking, prevent loss or damage, and coordinate efficiently with engineering, purchasing and finance teams. Reliability, physical fitness, attention to detail, honesty and a service-oriented attitude are important in a busy luxury-hotel environment.
