Security Manager

Job Description

The Security Manager is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and assets at Shangri-La Singapore. Requirements typically include several years of hotel, security, military or law-enforcement experience, supervisory experience, strong knowledge of security procedures, emergency response, incident investigation and local regulations. A relevant security qualification, first-aid training and familiarity with CCTV, access control and fire-safety systems are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to lead and develop the security team, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, manage emergencies, conduct investigations, coordinate with the police and other authorities, and prepare accurate reports. The role requires integrity, sound judgement, confidentiality, excellent communication, physical readiness and the flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
