Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest hospitality job markets. Opportunities are available in luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, catering, events, and food production, particularly for trained chefs and experienced kitchen staff. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international population; respectful dress, politeness, and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle is modern and convenient, with excellent shopping, beaches, public transport, and year-round sunshine, although summers are extremely hot. Employers usually sponsor a work visa, arrange medical checks, and may provide accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and annual leave. Candidates should confirm the full benefits package, contract terms, probation period, and recruitment costs before relocating. Passport validity and document attestation may be required.
