Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities in Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, and other resort destinations, especially in pastry, culinary, housekeeping, front office, wellness, and food and beverage roles. Phuket and Koh Samui provide island lifestyles with beaches, outdoor activities, international communities, and busy seasonal tourism. Thai culture places importance on politeness, respect, family, Buddhism, and sharing food; learning basic Thai is helpful. Living costs vary, with resort islands generally more expensive than mainland areas. Foreign employees normally need a Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit, usually arranged with employer support before or after arrival. Candidates should confirm accommodation, service charge, meals, insurance, transport, working hours, and contract terms. Thailand’s climate is tropical, with a hot season and a rainy season, so practical clothing and adaptation to humidity are important.
