The Demi Chef supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating and maintaining consistent food quality in Our Cafe. Candidates should have formal culinary training or relevant kitchen experience, basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene, and the ability to follow recipes and portion standards. The role requires teamwork, good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a clean workstation, handle equipment safely, minimise wastage and follow Shangri-La’s service and quality standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required.
