Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and facilities at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical duties include patrols, access control, monitoring CCTV and alarms, responding to incidents, assisting guests, preparing reports and supporting emergency procedures. Candidates should usually hold a valid Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit and relevant security training or experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment. Good spoken Cantonese and English are generally expected, while Mandarin is an advantage. The role requires integrity, alertness, physical fitness, sound judgment and a calm, professional manner. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, overnight duties, weekends and public holidays is essential.
