Job Description

The Accounting Assistant – Accounts Payable supports accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payment requests, expense claims, reconciliations and accounting records. Requirements typically include a diploma or degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline, basic knowledge of accounts payable procedures, good numerical ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with hotel accounting systems is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be detail-oriented, reliable, well organized and able to meet deadlines in a busy hospitality environment. Good communication skills, integrity, a service-minded attitude and the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, suppliers and other departments are important.
