Job Description

The Executive Chef leads all culinary operations, including restaurants, banquets, room service, menu development, food quality, kitchen profitability and team performance. Candidates should have extensive experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment, preferably with international exposure. Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, cost control, purchasing and modern culinary trends is expected. The role requires creative leadership, excellent communication, staff training ability and confidence managing multicultural teams. The successful candidate will maintain Shangri-La’s service standards, deliver memorable dining experiences, control operating costs and ensure consistent food quality while complying with Indonesian regulations and company policies.
