Job Description

The Chef de Partie (Western) is responsible for managing an assigned kitchen section and preparing Western dishes to Shangri-La’s quality and presentation standards. Candidates should have culinary training and relevant experience in a hotel, restaurant, or large-scale kitchen. Knowledge of Western cooking techniques, food safety, hygiene, portion control, and kitchen equipment is expected. The successful candidate should be organised, reliable, physically fit, and able to work efficiently under pressure in a multicultural team. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required. A positive attitude, attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to support junior colleagues are important for delivering consistent guest experiences.
