Its portfolio includes brands such as Meliá, Gran Meliá, ME by Meliá, INNSiDE and Sol by Meliá, covering luxury, lifestyle, leisure and business travel. Destination Guide

Spain’s islands offer opportunities in hotels, tourism sales, reservations, restaurants, events, wellness, transport and customer service. Mallorca has the broadest year-round employment market, while Ibiza is strongly seasonal and focused on luxury hospitality, nightlife and events. Menorca offers a quieter lifestyle, and the Canary Islands provide more extended tourism seasons. Island culture combines relaxed Mediterranean living, outdoor activities, local festivals and strong food traditions, although summer accommodation and traffic can be challenging. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can work in Spain after registering and obtaining the necessary identification and social-security documentation. Non-EU applicants generally need an employer-sponsored work permit before starting employment; visa-free tourist entry does not allow local work. Candidates should confirm contract terms, accommodation, transport, health coverage and whether the employer assists with relocation. Spanish is useful, while English and German are valuable in tourism.
