Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships, growing sales and developing new business opportunities for BlueScope’s steel products and solutions. The role typically requires experience in account management, industrial or construction-related sales, strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. Candidates should be confident negotiating with customers, preparing quotations, monitoring market activity and working with internal teams such as supply chain, operations and technical support. A customer-focused attitude, sound organisation, competent computer skills and the ability to meet sales targets are expected. Knowledge of steel, building products or manufacturing would be advantageous, along with a valid Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required.
