Job Description

The Shift Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a steel manufacturing plant. Requirements generally include an Australian-recognised electrical licence, relevant industrial experience, sound knowledge of electrical controls, motors, instrumentation and fault-finding, and the ability to read technical drawings. Experience in heavy industry, continuous-process manufacturing or high-voltage systems is advantageous.
