Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator supports the planning and movement of materials and finished products across BlueScope Steel’s operations. Typical responsibilities include coordinating transport providers, scheduling deliveries and collections, preparing shipping documentation, tracking orders, resolving delivery issues, maintaining accurate inventory and logistics records, and communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams. Candidates are generally expected to have experience in logistics, transport coordination or supply chain operations, strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and confidence using Microsoft Office and logistics or enterprise systems. Knowledge of Australian transport requirements, safety procedures and warehouse processes is advantageous. The role requires reliability, problem-solving ability, customer focus and the capacity to manage changing priorities in a busy industrial environment.
