Job Description

The Fregador/a supports the kitchen team by washing dishes, cookware, utensils and equipment, keeping work areas clean, handling waste correctly and following food-safety and workplace hygiene procedures. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods. Previous experience in kitchen stewarding or hospitality is helpful but may not be essential. Candidates are expected to work cooperatively, follow supervisors’ instructions, maintain safe cleaning practices and comply with the standards of Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required. Basic Spanish is useful for communication, while a positive attitude and commitment to cleanliness are essential.
