Job Description

This role leads the design, engineering and regional implementation of physical security systems for Amazon data centres (colocation facilities) across Ireland and possibly wider Europe. Requirements typically include experience in data-centre or critical-infrastructure security, security architecture, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, security operations and project delivery. Candidates should be comfortable developing technical standards, assessing risks, managing vendors, interpreting security regulations and working with engineering, facilities, construction and operations teams. Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills are expected, along with the ability to travel between sites and support projects from design through operational handover. Experience with Amazon Web Services data-centre environments, security certifications or engineering qualifications would be advantageous.
