Housekeeping Coordinator

Job Description

The Housekeeping Coordinator supports the department by coordinating room-cleaning schedules, assigning tasks, updating room-status information, handling guest and internal requests, preparing reports, and maintaining clear communication with housekeeping, front office, and engineering teams. Candidates are generally expected to have hotel or administrative experience, strong organization and attention to detail, professional communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Previous luxury-hotel experience is advantageous. Fluency in Japanese and practical English communication are likely important in Kyoto, along with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. A guest-focused attitude, discretion, teamwork, and knowledge of housekeeping procedures are also expected.
