Major employment hubs include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, while regional areas may offer opportunities in freight, agriculture and tourism. Australian workplace culture is generally informal, respectful and focused on punctuality, safety, teamwork and work-life balance. Lifestyle varies from busy city living to relaxed coastal or regional communities, with strong access to beaches, national parks and outdoor activities. Living costs can be high, particularly for housing in Sydney and Melbourne. For relocation, applicants should check whether the employer accepts temporary visa holders and review current Australian work-visa rules, including sponsored, skilled and working-holiday pathways. A valid work right is required before starting employment. Plan for accommodation, tax, healthcare, transport and initial living expenses, and confirm local conditions before moving.
