The Security Supervisor is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Requirements typically include relevant hotel, security or law-enforcement experience, supervisory ability, good communication skills and knowledge of emergency procedures, access control, incident reporting and local safety regulations. Cantonese and English are valuable, while Mandarin may be an advantage. The successful candidate is expected to lead security officers professionally, maintain a visible presence, respond calmly to incidents, monitor surveillance and patrol areas, support fire and life-safety procedures, and cooperate with guests, police and other departments.
