Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer helps protect guests, colleagues, hotel property and confidential information at Shangri-La Hong Kong. Typical duties include patrols, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents, preparing reports, assisting during emergencies and enforcing hotel safety procedures. Candidates should usually have relevant security or hospitality experience, good communication skills, a professional appearance and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Basic computer skills, physical fitness, shift flexibility and knowledge of local security practices are expected. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or willingness to obtain the required licence may be necessary. Cantonese, English and possibly Mandarin language skills are valuable.
