Floor Supervisor

Job Description

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping operations on assigned guest floors, ensuring rooms, corridors and service areas meet Shangri-La’s cleanliness and presentation standards. Typical requirements include previous hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory ability, good knowledge of cleaning procedures and attention to detail. The candidate should be organised, physically fit, customer-focused and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Strong communication skills are important for coordinating room attendants, reporting maintenance issues, controlling supplies and responding courteously to guest requests. Fluency in English is generally expected, while Cantonese or Mandarin can be advantageous in Hong Kong. Training or experience with hotel housekeeping systems is also beneficial.
