Destination Guide

Malaysia offers hospitality opportunities in Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu and other resort destinations, with demand for event managers, sales professionals, chefs, front-office staff and guest-services teams. Penang combines island living with a historic multicultural city, excellent food and a relatively active professional community. Langkawi is quieter and more resort-focused, with beaches, nature and a slower lifestyle. Malaysian culture is diverse, blending Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous traditions, and English is widely used in hotels. Living costs are moderate, though popular resort areas can be more expensive. Foreign employees normally require an employer-sponsored Employment Pass, and the company generally handles the application. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, medical cover, tax, working hours and relocation support before accepting an offer. A valid passport, authenticated qualifications and relevant experience may be required.
