Job Description

The Events Manager, RSR & GSH is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering meetings, conferences, weddings and other events across the resort or hotel operation. Candidates should have relevant experience in event planning, banquet operations, hospitality or sales, strong client-service skills and excellent organization. The role requires confident communication, attention to detail, budget and supplier management, and the ability to coordinate effectively with food and beverage, rooms, operations and commercial teams. The successful candidate is expected to manage events from initial enquiry through execution, meet revenue and service targets, resolve issues professionally and maintain Shangri-La's hospitality standards. Flexibility, teamwork, presentation skills and the ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays are essential.
