Job Description

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the hotel’s sales strategy, revenue growth and business development activities. Candidates typically need a degree or diploma in hospitality, business or marketing, along with substantial experience in hotel sales, preferably at a luxury or international property. Strong knowledge of corporate, leisure, group and event markets is expected. The role requires proven leadership, excellent negotiation and communication skills, an established industry network, and confidence using sales and revenue systems. The successful candidate will develop commercial plans, manage key accounts, coach the sales team, build partnerships, monitor market trends and work closely with revenue, marketing and operations departments to achieve occupancy, room-rate and revenue targets.
