Job Description

The Assistant Financial Controller supports the hotel’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls and compliance. Candidates should have a degree or professional qualification in accounting or finance, relevant hotel or hospitality experience, and strong knowledge of financial systems and Hong Kong accounting requirements. The role requires accuracy, integrity, commercial awareness and the ability to meet deadlines. Shangri-La will expect the successful candidate to support the Financial Controller, guide the finance team, improve controls, analyse business performance and work effectively with department heads. Strong communication, leadership, Excel and problem-solving skills are important, together with a hands-on and service-oriented approach.
