Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a popular Gulf destination with strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, events, and business services. Dubai and Abu Dhabi offer the widest range of hospitality roles, while Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and other emirates provide resort-based opportunities. Life is modern, convenient, and multicultural, with excellent transport, shopping, beaches, dining, and entertainment. The culture is generally welcoming, though visitors and residents should respect Islamic traditions, local dress expectations, and laws concerning alcohol and public behaviour. Most overseas employees need an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit; medical checks and Emirates ID registration are normally required. Employers often arrange sponsorship, accommodation or an allowance, transport, insurance, and flights. Candidates should confirm all contract terms, recruitment fees, working hours, and benefits before relocating.
