Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. Typical duties include patrols, access control, monitoring CCTV and alarms, responding to incidents, preparing reports, assisting during emergencies and enforcing hotel security procedures. Candidates should generally hold a valid Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit, have good physical fitness, sound judgement and strong observation skills. Previous experience in hotel, commercial or property security is advantageous. Good Cantonese and English communication skills are usually expected, while Mandarin is helpful. The role requires professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, calm decision-making and flexibility to work rotating shifts, overnight duties, weekends and public holidays.
