Public Area Supervisor

Job Description

The Public Area Supervisor oversees the cleanliness, presentation and upkeep of hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, washrooms, elevators and guest facilities. The role typically requires secondary education, previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar luxury-service environment, good knowledge of cleaning standards and the ability to supervise frontline colleagues. Candidates should be organized, physically fit, attentive to detail and comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays. Strong communication skills, a service-focused attitude and the ability to respond quickly to guest requests are expected. Supervisory experience, knowledge of health and safety procedures, and proficiency in English are advantageous.
