Technician (Fire Life Safety)

Job Description

The Technician (Fire Life Safety) is responsible for maintaining, testing and repairing fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, fire pumps and related life-safety equipment. Candidates should have technical training or vocational qualifications in electrical, mechanical or fire protection systems, along with relevant hotel, commercial building or facilities experience. Knowledge of Indonesian fire-safety standards, preventive maintenance and emergency procedures is valuable. The role requires practical troubleshooting skills, accurate maintenance records and the ability to respond quickly during alarms or emergencies. Shangri-La expects candidates to be safety-conscious, reliable, physically capable of working in plant rooms and elevated areas, and comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays. Good communication and teamwork are essential.
